Lempira (LPS), although all the payments for rent, and relations to such, must be done in United States Dollar. (US$).

To be done with 24 hours of anticipation. Otherwise, please contact our airport office at (504) 234-5724.

Driver´s License:
Valid in the country of origin. The passenger must present a International Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club) at the moment of rental.

Payment Forms Accepted:
International Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club), Avis charge cards or Avis voucher.

Pre-payment:
The payment must be maid effective the moment you take the vehicle, presenting Avis accepted vouchers. Additionally, you must present an International Credit Card to cover eventual chargers not included in the original voucher. Every other charge not included must be effective when you deliver your vehicle.

Deposit:
Every car rental requires US$600 deposit with an International Credit Card (groups B, C, D, E, P) and US$1,000 (groups K, J, M, O). No cash Money or personal/traveler´s check will be accepted as deposit or final payment.

ADITIONAL CHARGES

Child seat*:
US$ 5.00 per day.

LDW*:
US$ 40.00 per day, without deductible. Frees the client of all responsibilities of collision with another vehicle. Total or partial robbery should be covered to a 20% by the client. Does not include damage to windshield wipers and tires. A police report must be included for the protection to be effective.

CDW*:
US$ 10.00.- Per day, with deductible. Frees the client partial responsibilities from damage caused by accident or theft. The deductibles are US$ 500 (Groups A and B), US$ 1,000 (Groups C and D), US$ 1,500 (Groups J, K, M, N and P). Total or partial robbery of the vehicle should be covered up to a 20$ by the client. Does not include damage to windshield wipers and tires. A police report must be included for the protection to be effective.

PAI*:
USD$ 2.00.-per day. Provides benefits in medical expenses to the renter and passengers of a AVIS car in case of accidental death.

ALI*:
US$ 5.00.- per day without deductible, mandatory in Guatemala. Covers up to US$10,000 in injuries to people and damage to private property. A police report must be included for the protection to be effective.

ONE WAY RENTALS:
- Subject to previous consultations and availability.

Fuel:
All our vehicles are given with a full tank. An additional fuel charge will be done if the vehicle is delivered with less fuel than the original amount.
